That’s mainly because the large screen needs alot of power, the manufacturers try to make the phones slimmer, so they include a small battery and also the fact that you’ll use your iPhone not only as a phone but also for media content and browsing.

That’s why this next accessory comes verry handy: an external battery, small, easy to carry in your pocket yet powerfull enough to provide another hour of usage.

This particular model that you see in the above picture is made by PureGear and is Apple Certified. It has a slick design, black and silver, similar to the iPhone itself. The capacity is 760 mAh at 3.7V, which will provide up to one hour of extra usage.

It comes with an Micro USB port for computer synking and also for charging the battery from an USB charger.

While this might look like an aluminum case for the iPhone 4 it actually is made of polycarbonate covered with a metal looking paintjob. It has some crome decorations on the side to make it look even more futuristic.

Even though the manufacturer advertises it as a metal case for the iPhone 4S it does not fit the 4S properly, because this was designed for the iPhone 4 and the cutout for the vibrate swithch is not in the right position.

Car chargers are simple, cheap yet verry usefull iPhone accessories. For around 2 dollars you can get this black adapter.

It is not from a well known brand but it looks sturdy enough and should do the job charging your iPhone  just fine.

The cable is coiled like a spring and extends to quite a length so you can place the phone on the dashboard or another accessory like a windshield holder. That’s usefull when you plan to using your iPhone like a GPS navigation device.

On the down side this charger has no extra USB port for charging other devices so it is exclusevly for the devices that use the Apple conector.
